Mélanie Couture is an Associate Professor at the School of Social Work, Université de Sherbrooke, and the Chairholder of the Research Chair on older adult mistreatment. As a researcher in social gerontology for more than a decade, her research aims at the co-construction and integration of clinical and organizational innovations for the prevention and management of situations of mistreatment in the context of caregiving, institutional living and the use of technologies supporting aging in place.
