(via PEAPN)

The Peel Elder Abuse Prevention Network  (PEAPN) identified a need within its community for a resource to address scams affecting immigrant seniors.

Through a grant provided by New Horizons, the Network produced a video, which tackles those issues. The video itself was created by an older adult and member of PEAPN, Ken Stern, and the actors are senior volunteers from Peel Region (you may also catch one of CNPEA's Board members, Kavina Nagrani at 19:26!).

To get a better understanding of the issues affecting seniors in Peel, over 400 older adults were interviewed, and those stories are what translate into the vignettes you will be seeing.
