The Peel Elder Abuse Prevention Network has just announced a new five-part seminar series, Empowr’d Seniors, which will take place in the Fall of 2018 and Winter of 2019.
The monthly candid conversations will focus on five important issues affecting older adults. Each event will feature local experts on the matter and will be open to all, free of charge. The series will be of particular interest to older adults and informal caregivers.
Empowr’d Seniors is an outreach program provided by St Andrew’s Memorial Prebyterian Church with the assistance of PEAPN. PEAPN promotes the quality of life for older adults in Peel region by improving access to community service, improving the safety and well-being of seniors and by supporting and promoting improved healthy outcomes.
