How will our society prepare to support older Canadians to live independently in their homes and communities?
The National Institute on Ageing’s “Envisioning Ageing in Place” conference will bring together experts, thought leaders, practitioners and delegates to “widen the lens” to look at the models, practices and stakeholders that will be needed to support older adults to age in place.
A variety of age-friendly perspectives will be explored, such as housing and inclusive home design, urban and municipal planning and policies, innovative community and residential care models, and social resilience and capacity building.
