WEBINAR: Restorative Approaches to Senior Safety: The Nova Scotia Experience

In Nova Scotia a collaborative network of community-based organizations, academic institutions, government departments and volunteers has been developing a holistic restorative approach to senior safety.

The presenters will share their learnings through the development of this community of practice, as well as the practices utilized by the community partners when working with seniors.

This webinar will be an opportunity for a dialogue on how a restorative approach might be useful from an individual, institutional, societal and cultural perspective when looking at safety for seniors and everyone.

Wébinaire: Approches réparatrices de la sécurité des ainés, l’expérience de la Nouvelle-Écosse

En Nouvelle-Écosse, un réseau collaboratif composé d’organismes communautaires, d’établissements d’enseignement, de ministères gouvernementaux et de bénévoles travaille à mettre au point une approche réparatrice de la sécurité des ainés. Le réseau vise à élaborer une approche réparatrice holistique de la sécurité des ainés en nous engageant à travailler avec les aînés, et entre nous, selon les principes et pratiques de la justice réparatrice.

Les conférenciers partageront avec vous leur compréhension de la théorie relationnelle et de l’approche réparatrice en ce qui a trait aux aînés.

Ce webinaire sera aussi l’occasion d’un dialogue sur la manière dont une approche réparatrice peut être utile d’un point de vue individuel, institutionnel, sociétal et culturel au regard de la sécurité des ainés et de tous.

Nous présenterons des segments du webinaire dans les deux langues officielles. Deux de nos conférenciers sont bilingues et peuvent répondre à vos questions dans la langue que vous préférez.
